change of plans, the senior manager only wanted to interview one candidate so the recruiter had to choose the one with the most experience of course.
(which I am almost positive is my friend, as she’s qualified and professional)
so no second interview afterall, unless the 1st candidate messes up, but since it is likely to be my friend I hope she’ll be fine 🙂
I never expected to get the job in the first place, but it’s a bit of a downer to first be promised a second interview but then have it taken away.
However I do think a rejection would’ve been a lot harder to take if it were after a second interview than it is now. Because the recruiter said I was 2nd in line, so if he had wanted more candidates I would be in.
oh well, life goes on, I’m not gonna stop looking for jobs..
