I am not going to bore you with a mile long entry like the previous one, as I can fully understand if you find too long and too boring to read, but you should at least see if I answered your questions nicely As I said I really didn’t feel like doing another round of answers so I just crammed them all into one.
Now then, I got back from London just in time for in time for Biathlon on friday! Yes I’ve followed as much as possible of the Olympics, and I am very pleased. Thank you Ole Jørgen for updating me on Twitter.
Tuesday, I got up way too early for my liking and set off to the trainstation, arrived in London about 2 hours later and found the Hostel, and Line arrived pretty much at the same time as me. We barely had time to leave our luggage before we hit oxford street, I tried on that black dress I posted in my wishlist a few entries ago, and fell in love. It is now a part of my wardrobe
After shopping and some lovely asian take away from wasabi, we got prettyfied and set off to Wembley. Where beers and 30 seconds to mars awaited.
For proper review of the gig, check out Line’s blogg, I’ll just sum it up by saying! AMAZING!
Wednesday aka Line’s birthday, we met up with my friend Erika and went out to the Norwegian seaman’s church, where I spent £30 on norwegian food, very much worth it and I’ve already opened the brown cheese.
Later on we freshened up and went back towards the city center, and found a pub somewhere between oxford street and soho to celebrate Line the best way she knows, drinking beers! We were also joined by Thea, a friend of ours who happened to be in London this week too.
Thursday, I met another friend before we set off towards Leicester Square, because what happened thursday was pretty awesome. World premiere of Alice in Wonderland! We stood around for quite a while, ended up waaaay down the barrier and not even by the front.. Got very very cold (what don’t you do for Johnny Depp). But eventually we decided that enough was enough and sadly we had to leave with the Norwegian top blogger Voe as the most famous person we’d seen. At least we were there and that’s what matters.. (even if seeing Depp would’ve been even better).
Friday, or sightseeing day, since the rest of the stay had been spent either shopping, drinking beer or looking for celebrities, today was the day of seeing stuff.. All the usual stuff including Big Ben, London Eye and Buckingham Palace!
And all of the sudden the four days were up and we separated, Line to go to the airport and me to go back to Wolverhampton. thank you for some of the happiest days so far this year bæra mi!
I know for sure now that I really do Love London!
